This was a short ten minute fiction film shot digitally by the Television wing students of our film school. The film is called Hide and Seek, directed by Sridevi and shot by Ramananda Sarkar who were then students of Direction and Cinematography. The story revolves around a group of friends who meet up in a cafe. Since it was a young group, Sridevi wanted the setting to be a casual lounge like, bar like cafe. Given our limited resources we chose a hall which had a bright red wall and propped it up with mismatched furniture, bright and vivid fabrics, property to give a kitsch look, and completed setting the hall up in a day!
Here are some stills from the film.
