This was an assignment during film school, to plan how to build a set based on camera movements and shot division. I along with Eeshit Narain, student of Cinematography, planned on what the size and space of the set for our script should be. After making a plan and working out on the main property we made a table top model to work on. This model was then lit up and shot too for a rough lighting plan.
This was one of the earliest exercises on how a film set is planned.
Some photographs of the model…
Some stills from what we shot according to our shot division. Also, it gives us an idea on the basic look of the set with the rough lighting.
